From the football-rich community of Bradenton, Florida, to the storied grounds of Cardinal Stadium, Caleb Matelau is not merely adjusting to the college game—he is announcing his presence with force.

A 6-foot-2, 215-pound freshman linebacker at the University of Louisville, Caleb brings physicality, discipline, and purpose to every snap. His leadership helped propel Manatee High School to a state championship appearance, but his relentless work ethic is what separates him. Every rep, every snap, and every day is an opportunity to improve.

Matelau’s game is defined by urgency and precision. He does not wait for the play to develop—he attacks.

At Louisville, Caleb is beginning a new chapter as both a freshman and a future leader. He is establishing himself as one of the ACC’s most explosive young defenders.
